61 Point Relaxation Meditation

When I first did this guided meditation, I was envisioning myself as a giant Lite-Brite game that my sister and I had growing up. Little did I know that this 10 minute meditation would be a staple in my own practice and my teaching! I often guide myself through it when I can’t sleep at night. It takes counting sheep to a whole new energetic level.

The 61-Point Relaxation practice is a specialty of the Himalayan Tradition. This healing practice for deep relaxation and renewed vitality brings profound levels of rest to the body and nervous system, as well as to the senses and the mind. It is also an ideal practice for cultivating awareness, preparing for meditation and yoga nidra. I also love it as a practice to increase the bodies’ awareness of the subtle energies that are within and around us.
