“Our true happiness comes from being fully conscious in the present moment, aware of our connection to everything else in the universe.
— Thich Nhat Hanh
Who I am…
Yoga didn’t come to me as easily as some. After giving it a chance during recovery from knee surgery, it began to fill my heart. Initially, the asana limb of yoga drove me forward as I regained my strength and flexibility. However, the other limbs of yoga began to call to me as well, inviting me to learn more. Before I knew it, I was signing up for my first yoga teacher training. The path of yoga has not only helped me physically and spiritually, but it has given me a focus that was lacking. In being able to teach yoga to others, I hope to embolden you to create your own journey through the yogic teachings.
My mission.
My mission is to become a partner in each individual’s yoga journey; assisting them in achieving whatever level they are aiming for, be it physical and/or mental. We will explore a practice together where each class will tell a story and help everyone start writing their own.
Personally, I will remain a constant student to better myself and my practice so that I can share my knowledge with anyone who needs and/or wants it. We will grow together while remaining rooted in the ground.
