The Practice is the Path by Tias Little
A year ago I signed up for an online yoga conference that had hundreds of different workshops and speakers. The one that stood out to me the most was a talk about the co-existence of humanity and nature by Tias Little. It was a fascinating talk which made think that there was more I could learn from Tias.
One of his books, The Practice is the Path, is a very deep, thoughtful read that will lead you through "lessons and reflections on the transformative power of yoga." Each chapter explores a principle that not only relates to yoga, but can be applied to your life. Emptying before you begin and Not Knowing are two examples of the chapters. Tias uses his personal experiences and growth to deliver these practices in a comprehensible way. Each chapter ends with exercises to bring these ideas into our practice and ourselves. (In Meditation, On the Mat, and Off the Mat)
I hope you decide to pick this book up and I look forward to discussing it with you.
